I think South Carolina made the move to be first in line for coaching hires. I don't think it's a great job.
USC plays in a tough conference, they are worked over by their instate rival, and their fan base has outsized expectations (a problem common to many SEC programs). Money is good, though.
Maybe Napier has his eye on the Tennessee job whenever they kick out Pruitt.
